Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress, best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC TV series Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington located in Ohio left high school, and relocating into Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. In 2001, despite her financial struggles it was possible get her first significant role in the online video series Rachel's Room playing the principal character. Her role was reprised in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern adaptation of the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to the Lost series in the final two episodes playing Shannon. She also was a guest in the sixth series of Californication. The character she plays is Faith she is an admirer and muse to the celebrities. Hank Moody as played by David Duchovny falls in love with her. The following year, she starred in comedies and dramas: Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Won't Back Down (2012). Her other roles are as an agent of Secret Service in White House Down 2013, as a singer for Secret Service in White House Down 2013. She also appeared singing in Frank 2014 and as a singer as a singer in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she portrays the lead character. In 2021, Gyllenhaal made her writing and directing debut in the psychological thriller The Lost Daughter for which she won the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
