Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1977) is a famous American actor best recognized for her role as Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of AMC's historical drama Mad Men. The series has earned her six Emmy nominations, including best supporting actress and deserved praise from critics. Her work has been recognized throughout the past two decades for her performances in the law thriller Kevin Hill, comedy series Another Period and crime drama Tin Star.
